Musicians from University of Miami Frost School of Music, New World Symphony, and Lynn University are giving a benefit recital to raise support for the victims in Japan.

The Salvation Army will be receiving credit card, cash, or check donations at the recital.

The Salvation Army has relief teams in Japan and have been helping evacuate people from areas affected by the failed nuclear reactors. In addition, the Salvation Army has helped many earthquake victims offering food and shelter.

This event is sponsored by the Salvation Army, Plymouth Congregational Church, Steinway&Sons Gallery Miami, Matsuri, and the UPS Store in Coconut Grove.

There will be a small reception donated by MATSURI following the recital.

If you can't make it to the event, be sure to donate to the Salvation Army! You can text "Japan" to 80888 to donate $10 or go to http://bit.ly/fBXzvT
